7/16 On my way to scout places today, I passed by this "abandoned" garden near my apartment. I never noticed it because it's surrounded by metal fences. With curiosity I asked is there anybody in there. An old man opened the door. Then we had a small chat. It's not actually abandoned. He helps with daily gardening for years. Then he moved on talking about how gardens and parks serve as the city's lung and be in a role of therapist. We mentioned how Golden Gate Park, Denver, New York doing the same thing. It's not just about urban planning. It's the essentials for the rhythm of living. Thanks him and people like him.
